Naïah
Who is Naïah?
Naïah is a contemporary artist whose work begins with matter. Her practice originates in sculptural paintings created using plaster, mixed media and layered textures, where the surface becomes relief and the canvas becomes volume.
Before dedicating herself fully to art, Naïah worked as a fashion buyer, developing a trained eye for materials, form and the subtle balance that creates beauty. This sensitivity to texture, composition and visual presence continues to shape her artistic approach.
Each work begins as a physical sculptural composition. These pieces are then photographed and transformed through digital processes, allowing the material to evolve into new visual possibilities.
Rather than remaining digital images, these transformations become the starting point for a new cycle. The works are expanded and ultimately brought back into physical form, often at a larger scale.
Volume is therefore both the origin and the destination of Naïah’s practice. This constant dialogue between matter and digital transformation defines a distinctive artistic language where sculpture, painting and image merge.
Naïah’s works are conceived as sculptural presences designed to interact with architecture and transform a space. Today her studio develops large-scale pieces for collectors, luxury interiors, hotels and architectural projects seeking singular statement artworks.
